Directing Choice
For this series, I approached the idea as a dystopia that feels almost desirable.
The premise is simple: If you remove choice, you also remove disappointment.
So I built a world that runs perfectly. An AI decides everything. What you wear, what you eat, who you love. Life becomes efficient, optimized, frictionless. Until something breaks. A glitch brings together two people who were never meant to meet. And for the first time, a decision is not made for them. That moment disrupts everything.
Visually, I was interested in the tension between control and instinct.
Between a system that works and the human need to break it. Because this is not a story about artificial intelligence.
It’s about the risk of living without choice.
RANDOM is part of a larger platform I created for brands, called Netflix for Brands, a Social Entertainment approach that transforms brand channels into content spaces people actually want in their feeds.
