MASTERCARD INVESTMENT SCAM
Directing Choice

For this film, I chose to approach the testimonial in the same cinematic language as the main campaign, but stripped down to its most essential form.

The idea was not to film a story being told, but to observe the space around the person telling it.

I used negative space as a narrative tool. Not as an aesthetic choice, but as a way to express absence, uncertainty, and the invisible nature of the threat. The character is present, but never fully defined. The camera doesn’t stay on the face. It drifts, searches, lingers on details, pauses on empty areas that carry as much meaning as the words themselves. What is said becomes only part of the experience. What surrounds it reveals the rest. I was interested in capturing the tension between what is remembered and what is missing. Because in these stories, the real impact is not just what happened. But what it leaves behind.
